Free Keyword Density SEO Tools
Keyword density is the measurement in percentage of the number of times a keyword or keyword term appears compared to the total number of words in a page. In the SEO process, keyword density can be used as a factor in determining whether a page is relevant to a specified keyword or phrase. But because it's not hard to manage the keyword density of a certain keyword in a page, search engines usually take many other factors when they make measurement of relevancy to prevent unscrupulous webmasters from creating search spam through practices such as keyword stuffing.
Suppose:
KD = Keyword Density
KW = Number of Keywords
W = Number of Words on page
KD = (100 / W) * KW
For example, in a page with 100 words that has its one specific keyword in the text repeated 4 times has the following Keyword Density:
KD = (100 / W) * KW = (100 / 100) * 4 = 4% Keyword Density
Select one keyword and use the following tool to calculate how much is the keyword density of that word on your homepage.
